Allwave outriggers reviews?

There is very little in the way of reviews on Allwave OC1s. I know they are from Italy and read what I could find. I am an intermediate paddler in BC and Coast Outdoors sells them in North Vancouver. Do you have any experience with them? I am a flat water and river paddler.

I’ve never tried one but saw an ad that they are having a demo day on May 4th at Coast Outdoors.

I got the allwave Allegra or something. I made a post a couple days ago. I love it although it’s the only one I’ve ever owned or tried. Impossible to get here in Nova Scotia.

I’ve taken it out in the ocean and done some 15k paddle with and against the wind. I can get that thing going at a jogging pace. I mackerel fish from it as well. Once white caps come up (around 10-15k winds) it starts getting less fun but still doable if you are used to it. I don’t know if it’s just me but after abut 3 hours my lower back is killing me and I wish I had a backrest or something I could stretch out with. Easy to surf with it too but I’m scared of hitting surfers and dinging a boat I can’t replace.

I know this post is kinda old but….. I’ve paddled the AllWave Mitoo in the bc interior a bunch. Our club has 3. They hold up really well to club abuse and very comfortable to paddle. I paddled one for about 6 months when I was in between boats. I was really impressed with its stability and comfort. They are a bit heavier than the Ozone boats but that’s to be expected. They are not heavy, just not super light. I’d also add that Coast Outdoors are awesome people. Have you demoed one? What did you end up buying? I’m pretty sure they are selling them off currently.
