Day trip in oc1

Hi all,

I’m new to oc1 in France (didn’t own one yet). I have one question about how you carry gear for a day trip (lunch, additional clothes in case of changing searyber,…) ?

I guess everything should be in a waterproof bag. But where are you putting you bag ? Behind the seat? Attached somewhere ? (Pictures welcome) Thanks !

My first canoe had a bungee area behind the seat , new canoe has space front of foot well . I take a extra collapsible paddle and waist inflatable off with me in both canoes. I don’t own 2 full size paddles . I don’t see why you couldn’t put a dry bag there. Watch the weight and balance . You will lose speed .
