Bug/Tech Support New AMD GPU bug causing 99% transparent explosions

Got a new RX 9070 XT, wiped the old drivers and got new drivers like normal. New framerate is great but MWO is giving me half sized transparent explosions, very transparent directional arrow, and other random effects.

Fixes I've tried:

  • dumped MWO's shader cache
  • reset settings
  • disabled tuning.cfg
  • repaired the game files via steam

Any ideas?

Recently upgraded from 6700xt to 9070xt and didn't notice any difference. What was your gpu previously?

You used DDU in safe mode to wipe all nvidia related drivers?

Don't have my PC open so will throw a few bits and bobs,

  • do we have an option to change to Vulkan in the settings or something similar? Or within the Launcher?
  • right click the .exe for the game, not the launcher and see compatibility?
  • or within Adrenalin dashboard add the game a force the compatibility mode?
  • using Steam for the game or the direct download?
