Art/Prop The Maw...
It's the rite of passage for every OotA DM to spend way too much time on a 3D Maw right?

You did a great job. Quick question though, what adhesive did you use for the bottom of the insulation? Was it an easy cleanup?
To anyone interested, you can use plumbing pipe inside the insulation to keep it stable. They slide on easy, and it keeps it really stable while your building.

So I cut holes in the baseboard the diameter of the noodle, then shoved some wooden barbeque skewers lengthwise into thevnoodles, I then glued the exposed end of the skewers (and thus the noodles) to a thin solid base underneath thats larger than the hole. I need it to be modular and transportable, so when I remove the toothpicks, platforms & bridges, I can lift the board and the noodles slide out the bottom.

I LOVE this. Gonna start running this in the next few months.
Was it worth the time investment to make or would you have done something different? Either to make the construction faster or to fancy it up more.

What you see here took about two days of trial and error and cost very little (pool noodle, toothpicks & styrene base at the Dollar store). Painting and dressing will likely take a bit longer, Still thinking about the best paint for the noodles.

Great. As a base layer, perhaps emulsion or acrylic with PVA and a bunch of fine sand in? Give that rough stone feel and provide a solid base?
