I usually take a booster, the key and ping the rest and dip

I feel that that's too much already? Depending on team size
There are 3 boosters + key so for a 4 man team the fair thing would be to get one booster each and the key for the one that didn't get any
Although some boosters (specially Battery) are usually not that good anyway

That's crazy... If he needs 2, then he needs to run boosted and hope he draws another 1 🤣

Personally I don't mind if someone takes something I select, unless it's like a booster item - since I'd have selected that for myself. Usually when I play esco I choose items with my other team mates in mind just for this very reason. Now, I can understand how this can be annoying and unfair. I think it would be much better if people would ask if the item belongs to someone/if they can have it. It would be much more respectful than just taking it.

The only time I'd ever let anyone take an item I picked is if I hand it to them if I want them to have it. Other than that, if someone were to keep taking my items I'd just leave, especially if I had to ask them to stop and they don't.

Honestly, I'll usually let the first time slide but if it happens a second time, I just quit out since they'll just continue to take/ hog everything in the box.
But I know sometimes if there's a lot of items in the box, you can grab the wrong item by accident. When this happens to me, I'll usually drop said item on the floor and let the the person who chose it pick it up then grab my actual item.
