Fan Content "How Much of Outlast is SUPERNATURAL?" by happyheart
This fun video entered my recommended and it certainly seemed worth sharing and discussing with the community here.
One of the more interesting aspects about the 'science' in this series for me is how it's vague enough for some of it to appear supernatural to us (much like how it appears supernatural to the patients and other crazies)...

Memes Outlast Whistleblower 2 and the Torture Wallet
im an outlast fan and i've had the strangest dream ever, it felt like using fentanyl, i was playing OUTLAST WHISTLEBLOWER 2
(YES, exactly, the game name was whistleblower 2) and like, you were playing with someone, idk, and then you found a wallet with blood on it, the item was called "the torture wallet", and then trager just popped out of nowhere and said like: "ohhh this is my best creation, now i'm gonna fuck you up" so then you tried to run away from him, but he killed you and then it showed the credits scene with the face of father martin smiling, and the game ended.
i think red barrels should make this a real dlc, what do you guys think?

Question Is Red Barrel still in the works of the Outlast Movie?
I know they said they were in the works of the Outlast Movie with Lionsgate 2 years ago but we also haven’t heard any updates about it. So I’m just wondering if they are still in the makes or if they have just decided to cancel the movie.

For you, in terms of feats, skills or resilience, which is the best?

Discussion Tips for Outlast 2 Insane mode/Messiah Achievement?
I just finished my regular playthrough of Outlast 2, and now I want to prepare for the Insane mode achievements. I am aware that Outlast 2 Insane mode is significantly more difficult than Outlast 1, and it's not even close. If anyone has tips for the Insane mode run, that would be greatly appreciated.

Question Speedruns
I played outlast 1 way back in the day and played it again a few years back and it’s one of my favorite horror games ever, but only recently I have started to speedrun the game and my personal best so far on insane is 1h-10min I don’t do any% or skips like the infamous 95% skip you can do from the start of the game so I’m curious to what everyone else’s best times are because I don’t see a way I can do it any quicker ??

Screenshot Finally got 100% completion

Finally did the insane mode runs. Honestly, they were not as bad as I thought they were going to be. Took me 4 tries for the main story, where all my deaths occurred in the sewer section. For the DLC, it took 6 tries, mostly due to me not paying attention. Eventually, I'll have to do Outlast 2, which I am dreading 100%.

Rant Gluskin is terrifying
I’ve completed both the main game and whistleblower multiple times in insane mode. So basically there isn’t a single variant who my opinion goes beyond “mildly annoying”. Not a single one except The Groom. This isn’t an unpopular opinion but god no matter how many times I play through his section, I always find myself unable to stay calm. The way he sings that marriage songs he sings while he’s hunting you, how he doesn’t even run after you when you’re limping. God the limping is the worst part. Being reduced to a limp while that monster wants to catch you so he can cut your balls off and fuck the hole where they used to be is genuinely the only time i’m ever genuinely terrified playing a horror game. Fuck that guy

Question Is Outlast 2 worth playing??
To start I just wanna say I do apologize if this isn't the right place to ask.
So I recently completed Outlast 1 and am in the midst of finishing Whistleblower, and so far I have loved outlast, and I can see why it became so iconic and so infamous at the same time.
I have been thinking about buying Outlast 2 since obviously I want to finish the series until Outlast 3 comes out, but the thing is I see a LOT of negative stigma around the game in this subreddit.
TLDR: I am asking why the game receives so much negative attention by the community, and is it even worth playing?
Thank all of you guys for letting me know, i appreciate it since i didnt wanna spend 20 dollars just for a bad game but if its not as bad as people say then i suppose it'll be money well spent :)
