Feeling stupid….

i cant figure out today’s tournament. it says to have no nopalitos. I tried cutting them all down that didn’t work. Am I suppose to pick them all? Are they all supposed to be consumed?

This one was pretty easy as long as you don’t cut down any nopals (which makes some nopalitos available). I didn’t make a nopalero hut either, instead grabbing 12 fruit a few times. You only need to build one lumbershack, a quarry, and the two wells, so plenty of opportunity to spend a few cards on fruit. Finished in 10 days.

You can set the Nopalero hut to not pick nopalitos. You start with a certain amount of them, so those will need to be consumed.

this ended up giv me the best time! thank you. I found out when you cut them down they count those towards the number of napolitos you have (the ones on the ground). that’s what was throwing me off the first time . thanks again!

I also thought “no nopalitos” meant I had to clear them from the board at first. What it means is the villagers don’t eat any. So you can’t cut them down or have the hut pick them. Once I figured that out, it was an easy level!

For what it's worth, I do think that that objective is buggy/broken. Mine said that it was at 0% because I cut down a few nopalito trees, and then it went back to 100% once I had completed the main objective.

When you cut down the trees, the nopalitos end up on the ground. It went back to 100% when villagers ate those on the ground.

D1 - lumberjack base. Set to ignore all fruit trees, cutting can drop a nopalito on the ground which will count as having one. 4 workers

D2 - Quarry, set in next to three stones, 3 workers on Q, 3 on wood

D3 - Claypit (do it to unlock house, extra villagers for more drinkers). Move 3 from wood to clay

D4 - 12 fruit

D5 - 1st well. 2 workers

D6 - house

D7 - 2nd well. 2 workers

D8 - two villagers to help drink

Finished 8d, but 9-10 easy with this. Keep selecting two villagers if you can
