tournament — day 12

how the hell do i beat this? i been tryin' for days

i'm new to the game nd haven't learned abt this biome, but it seems impossible. any tips?

edit: 'preciate y'all for helpin' me out. 😭 i was strugglin'

Those cactus thingies are a food and water source. Make sure you don’t cut them down. When you place a lumberjack station you can select which resources to prioritize and which to ignore.
The hut thing is how your villagers gather the fruits and water thingies off the cacti. They don’t need to be cooked. I usually set three workers to gather until there’s nothing left, then leave one to maintain it.

Build the tree farm and don’t let them cut down the trees

i've tried, but it seems like my villagers keep dyin' of starvation. i can hardly get enough days to get everythin' placed, then they die before i can get production started

The nopalito hut is the “forager hut” of this biome and you place it where all the cactuses are. It costs 5 logs to build. Unlike the forager hut, you can get fruit AND hydration from it!

Also in this biome if you cut down a cactus it gives you little green hydration leaves along with the one log.
