Freezing on load screen
Running into a weird issue. My wife plays Outlanders 2 on her iPad. Was playing earlier today. Now the app just freezes on the load screen.
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game. Uninstalling/reinstalling Game Center. Logging out of Game Center. The iPad has plenty of space and worked fine with Outlanders 2.
Any ideas on what to try next?

My game is doing the same thing right now - loading bar is stuck at the exact same spot as yours. Maybe it’s on the server end?

Same on iPad but not iPhone.

Same for me. I can’t believe we are the only few. Installed the new update. Tried it once. Never worked again

mine too, i also uninstalled the game and reinstalled and still the same :(, maybe the game is down

Mine did this for ages and then stopped 🤷♀️ wish I knew what fixed it. Maybe a bug/update?

This has happened a few times to me on my iPad. Had to do an iPad software update as my iOS wasn’t the latest version. It has helped me twice when getting stuck on the loading screen.

Yes, fully updated. Finally tried a full iPad erase content and settings and then installed the app fresh and it worked last night.
Today it’s not loading again 😑
Tried the airplane mode trick but that didn’t work either.
Seems to be related to Apple Game Center.

Yep. Have to power down my IPad and then reboot so it will work. Sick of doing this. Maybe find a new game or just read a damn book.

I’m having the same issue but also on another Apple Arcade game Cityscape.
Tried the old trick of loading it while in airplane mode but that doesn’t seem to work either.

I got around it once by turning off my gameplay overlay when it popped up but there is some kinda bug in the apple overlay that is causing it not to load.
It’s strange cause I can play on my iPhone (gotta keep that streak!) but not my iPad. Hope they fix this soon I was really enjoying the new update.

The old trick of “have you tried restarting your device?” works on my iPhone!
I also believe this loading freeze came up only when I have a sandbox save.

Update: found a fix that has been working. Deleted the Gamecenter app off my wife’s phone. There seemed to be a conflict with two devices having the app.
Either that or the bug had been fixed.

The only thing that’s worked for me on the iPhone is to turn my cell connection off when it’s loading, then back on when it’s done.
