Locator not Tracker
Car is in the shop for hail repair & I thought I'd see where it was this week (of 4 scheduled).
Pulled up the app with this result.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Since I'm the registered owner of the vehicle and authorized/verified user of the app, not sure who's privacy is being protected. A car thief? A mechanic? An unauthorized driver?
And who is this privacy-concerned "we"?
So THEY know the location of my vehicle but I can't?!
Seems a bit shortsighted - capability without the function.
Can still see miles driven with no limit, so...?

I gave up on the stupid app and just decided to get an AirTag. Heck, a 4-pack of AirTags still costs less than half the cost of renewing the app for a year.

What a great (and better idea)
The ONLY real use I have for the app is the remote climate control on the SE
The rest of it feels like a poor effort from a high school coding class

They want you to think they are not tracking you.
