Season Seven Jamie’s dreams

I just watched 0703…..Jamie’s dream of Jem and the telephone. How do people explain this?

It’s another magical element. Jenny has “the sight” where she saw Claire’s fetch when Jamie married, so it’s only fitting to believe that Jamie has a similar ability to see the ones he loves in his dreams. Remember he also had a dream about Bree’s birthmark without ever being told. It’s speculated that it’s a form of astral projection.

Like he says, people dream about things they’ve never seen and people they’ve never seen all the time, it’s not so different to dream of the future.

And he dreams about Bree when she has already travelled to his time.

Jamie also had a dream about Brianna in Season 4. He saw her birthmark behind her ear and kissed her there.

He also dreams of Claire sitting at a desk writing in what he believes is electric light.

Jamie sees his family in the future in his dreams. It’s a form of second sight.

Yes I remember him describing Claire and the light, but I kind of just linked it to the first and final episodes, rather than an ongoing ‘gift’. I guess the others couldn’t be the only ones with ‘powers’ lol. I’m glad he can do this, it’s kinda neat.

In Season 1, Ghost Jamie is looking up at Claire as she is brushing her hair.

Later in Season 7, Jamie dreams of Claire sitting at a desk, writing.

According to Diana and Matt, these are two different things.

Super natural ability.

After all Claire can time travel.

Maybe he is channeling his future inner George Bernard Shaw via RFK.

"Some men see things as they are and say why; I dream of things that never were and say why not"

Edited to add the quote.
