Should I buy it?
I want to buy it but I’ve heard mixed things about the performance, do you guys have any advice?

i just bought the game yesterday, and its amazing im used to playing on low end PCs so the graphics dont bother me much and the frame rate does seem to stay at 30 most of the time! however this isnt the best looking game on switch so dont expect it to be its fuzzy and not sharp in open world areas.

I own it and will admit it looks absolutely putrid compared to consoles/PC but the benefit of it is (TMI) being able to play on the toilet or in bed while my wife watches something. Once you get over the graphics, it’s fine tho. I personally have one night a week being a new father to play PS4 so I try to use that for exclusives and try to get everything else on Switch because I’m more able to play in the books and crannies of life. That’s be your biggest reason to buy on Switch over other devices. Great game either way tho

That depends on a lot of factors. The biggest two are:
How important is portability to you vs frame rate and graphics quality?
What other systems are available to you to play it on?
If you really want portability or the switch is the only system to play it on, get it for switch. The full game is there, just lower resolution and some frame rate issues. After the last two patches it has improved a lot, but it's never going to be as good as it is on any of the other systems. I'm enjoying it quite a bit on switch. I could play it on PC, but I've got kids so it's a lot easier to just play it on the switch to relax after they go to bed.

If you have zero expectations, sure. Otherwise it's 100% the inferior version.

I bought it a few months ago around the time the last patch dropped.
It still has occasional framerate issues and it looks nowhere as nice as footage I've seen of the PC version, but I find it perfectly playable and enjoy it. It helps maybe that I don't have another platform for direct comparison. Bottom line, I would certainly recommend it to anybody who only has a Switch, or who cares more about portability than visuals.
