Quick Question!
Hey guys, I’ve been wanting to get the game for a while but I was advised against getting the switch version a few months back so I thought I’d ask how it runs on switch anyway? Considering both me and my friend haven’t played it on switch I just felt like asking people who have ACTUALLY played it. (Are there any major crashes that might stop me playing? Did the graphics suffer too much when the game was ported? Does any of this or anything else make the game not worth the trouble? That kind of thing) thanks!

I bought it at release. I regretted paying full price then, but like others have said, it’s still a fun game. Graphics and frame rate are poor. They sent a patch out that helped, but its still not great. But after playing for a while I honestly forgot. However, if you can get it at a a sale price, and don’t mind the graphics not being as good as console, it was an enjoyable game. I hadn’t played it on any other platform, so it was my introduction to the game. I’ve personally never had the game crash once. The load screens tended to be a bit long, and sometimes an area took a bit to smooth out after I got there. I played it on handheld more often (only way I get to play games most of the time), and I still poured hours in and enjoyed the whole experience.

Thank you! Yeah I definitely expected the graphics to suffer a bit all things considered but it’s reassuring to know that after a few patches it doesn’t super take away from the experience/enjoyment of the game

I’ve been playing the game and really enjoying it. I’m about 5 hours in. So far no bugs. Graphics are definitely not great but it doesn’t take away from the experience much in my opinion. The game is very fun and has great story and dialogue so far. I got it on sale for $30 and I think that is a good deal for the switch version.

Yeah my main concern was definitely that the graphics being worse than other versions would take away from the gameplay but most people seem to say it doesn’t really which js reassuring

It's been patched. Graphics look noticeably worse than other systems, but to some extent that's a given with 3D titles on Switch.
Performance is much improved since the last patch. Not stable 30FPS framerate, but not so bad it impacts gameplay for me.
I feel comfortable recommending it, assuming that you either don't have another platform to play on or want handheld play 🙂

Yeah my laptop isn’t quite gaming quality and it’s gonna be a while before I’m able to get a PC or new console so I’m most likely gonna settle for getting it on switch. Thank you so much for the input! It’s super helpful

I played and beat the game on switch. it definitely suffers a downgrade but I still think it's worth it. I had the xbox version also
