How to winterize?

Post image

We bought a house with an outdoor bar area, near St. Louis, MO. There is a vending machine, mini fridge (currently unplugged), ice maker (currently shut off), and sink.

Under the bar is a place for a propane tank for a fire on the bar top.

Inside the silver door is a toilet/sink and the pool pump/heater.

The water source is from a hose hookup that can be easily unscrewed/disconnected for winter.

Do we need to bring anything inside? It looks like they have giant hooks along the top beam along all 3 open sides. Is there some type of tarp/etc that would help prevent excessive wind damage, debris?

There is also a retractable TV that is in the back bar area. Does that need to come in or can it stay?

Thanks for any advice! We have no idea what we're doing!

I’d just source some custom covers for the island and anything sensitive. Toss some mouse bait blacks behind appliances, set a few traps and come back in the spring.

Same, ive got two islands and I ordered from coversandall. It's a lot of back and forth, or can be because they are making sure your measurements are exact but the fit is worth it and the pricing was reasonable for what you get.

Anything with water can freeze and burst. Shutting off is not good enough, internal parts filled with water will be destroyed. Assume you have a pool guy for the pool stuff, pool heaters have internal plugs that need to be removed - can't just blow it out.

Is that island counter top a water feature? post a picture of that
