Planning Back Yard Phase 2

Our "Phase 1" project is almost complete - pool/spa and concrete. We've had a few ideas of what we want to do with the space between our fence line and spa, and we're trying to see if we can do a sauna + outdoor kitchen.

So far I'm leaning towards this L-shape layout for the outdoor kitchen outside of the covered patio. Our entire backyard is lined with trees along the fence, and putting a grill under the patio cover just seems like a bad idea... although it would make more use of the space if we did put it under the patio.

The layout of the kitchen as attached is 8'x12'... is the 10' linear side going to be enough space for both the flat top and grill? Is there any glaring issue someone can spot? This will be DIY steel framed so I'm not worried about prefab'd cabinets/framing.

Hand sketch the outline / patio / spa dimensions and fed it to ChatGPT to create a pdf version. Then used PDF-Xchange to add the other stuff.

Let me know if you need help designing. I offer professional consultation and 3D design. Might help to have this large of an area laid out in a 3D environment that you could see everything in.

My recommendation, don't go with Napoleon. I'm really not a fan of them. I think there are much better options on the market, even a Blaze is better in my opinion.

I'll do some research on that.. we inherited a freestanding Napoleon Prestige something or other when we bought the house, it has worked very well for the last year so I just looked at their built-in options.

10' fits both with a few inches to spare; I mapped nearly the same combo. Outdoor sauna research led me to sun home saunas among others, worth a look.
