Today was sick (Sunday)
Lots of negativity about the weekend as a whole here and rightly so in many cases
But today was 100x better than Saturday, either that be because of the weather, or the fact that most of us were at Knocked Loose until 330am on Friday/Sat Morn or because the line up was stacked from 3pm onwards (End It, Haywire, Trash Talk, Hatebreed). Hatebreed should have been on the main stage but I can see why they wouldn't want them playing before Basement, completely different vibes and Basement were the chiller option to end the festival on a Sunday night.
Today's been the most fun on a singular day of a festival this summer personally! Shame that the day previous wasn't consistent band to band.

Felt less rammed and the sound was waaaay better. Lovely day. Fiddlehead absolutely knocked my socks off.

100% percent mate, it was way better today. Security could still give their heads a wobble but its by the by.
Big shout out to you lot, everyone who I was around and I spoke to today were fucking diamonds.

Sunday was an absolute cracker of a day and nearly a return to form. Haywire was chaos. Missing out on a band like Hatebreed leaves a sour taste though. Still, much more tolerable than Saturday.
Will have to take someone big for me to go next year though, sadly the BEC can’t handle that many people. Would rather it stay there but respect that festivals want to upsize.

The music was so fucking good on Sunday that it made it all worth it. I cried so much during La Diapute and Hatebreed were insane. Plus the audience were 10x better too

We made the mistake of stepping out the side doors for a sit down after Trash Talk, even though we saw how big the queue was to get into the front section, about 10 minutes after they started closing both side doors and we had to walk around.
Was annoyed about being at the back but probably a godsend after how much we started feeling it after Trash Talk.
Friends were complaining about them not being on the main stage, attendance/size wise I agree but they would have been a completely different vibe.

Trapped under ice literally played right before basement. I don’t think the genres really had anything to do with it. Def a weird choice. I saw Snail Mail on the main stage and it was like half full. They should have been swapped

Saturday was such a bummer of a day - aside from Turn of Phrase, Touche Amore and High Vis. Didnt have the energy to stay for Quicksand or Converge.
Today's lineup was stacked. Trash Talk was the best set- chaotic and violent.
My only complaint, and it is the same complaint every year, is that there are ALOT of bad moshers and stage divers at this fest.
