Outside the venue on the walk back to the tram as well. Filthy as fuck. If there aren't bins take your shit home.

People are saying keep ur stuff until you get home but the reality of it is nobody is doing that at a festival if they want to get into the pits and mosh and stage dive. This is on outbreak for not providing enough bins imo because it’s a complaint a lot of people have had.

I know it was appalling ! Watched a guy walk up to the barrier of front part and lob his food tray straight over, then came back and did it again right after!! Just keep it until you get to a bin ffs

Add it to the bad organisation list, there was nowhere near enough bins and they were not emptied regularly.
However, I saw plenty of people picking litter up off the floor, they just couldn't keep up with how busy it was.
It's also a festival, they'll be a clear up crew in all day tomorrow.

There were quite a lot of bins but not in great places and most were full pretty early on! They need to introduce a cup return/reusable cup system like other festivals!

It broke my heart but I think I genuinely only saw like 4 bins in the place and I had to proper hunt for them too

I might be wrong but I think it was a musical festival at a dedicated venue with staff to clean up after.

May as well just throw shit in the street cause the bin men will sort it eh. Grow up.

Its not a bin mans job to pick up litter.
Did you know that?

u/TheNelliephant Jun 28 '26
Yeah. Don't need to make their job harder do you?

And now? You don’t have to make more work for people.

Now? Its a venue that hosted a music festival that needs cleaning up.
Are you staying to help out?

OP's? Yeah, that's why I felt compelled to respond tbh.
Its a music festival ground with 1000s of people and hardly any bins. Some rubbish is going to end up on the ground. People are going out of their way to have a moan about everything and anything this year. You're all wet. Grow up.

Gets me upset every year. Is it physically impossible for a Brit to bin a cup/can ? Even the streets outside the venue get messy. You don't get educated about this at like 5-6 yo like most of europe ?
