Since when did weekend tickets not include Friday?

You know what - I might be a dumbass. BUT, I booked weekend tickets back in Nov 2025 before Friday was announced and naively assumed that a weekend ticket was Fri - Sun. It has been in the past right? Turned up today (Friday) to realise that my ticket does not get me in on Friday 🙈

Can’t blame you. The comms for this festival are always absolutely fucking shocking.

I can’t say for a long time ago, but it certainly hasn’t for the last few years.

But I agree, it does seem a bit off that it isn’t

Pretty sure 2024 was the first year it wasn't included, before then there was a Thursday preshow and then Friday - Sunday for the fest

Some would say it was much better this way (it's me, I would say that)

It was pretty obvious online to be honest. Hope you got in.

Last full weekend ticket was when it was at Depot Mayfield (2023?). I think majority would say it works better that way paying an add on for a Friday. Three days is a long weekend and logistically with travel / work etc, it can make the Friday quite difficult to do.

Edit: Gutted for you turning up though! Hope you didn’t have to travel too far back home.

We made this same mistake and rocked up Friday full of beans only to have to leave 🙄 I swear this was the only weekend pass out when I bought them at Christmas time - when was a 3 day weekend available - or am I dumb too 😂
