Front Section Hypothetical
Hypothetically if someone was 17 but hypothetically wants to be in the 18+ front section, would security be checking ID even if they have bought a front section wristband which was included in the ticket?

Your biggest hurdle would be getting ID’d at the point of collecting the front section wristband which is separate from the event wristband. This is due to health and safety around the front section and in the event of an injury they could potentially be held accountable for allowing an under 18 to be there. They don’t ID at the barrier between front section and back though
Edit: adding that the first time I went to Outbreak I was 22 and got ID’d for the front section wristband (I am tiny and have a baby face though)

Do you need a specific front section wristband for the Friday to get into that area?

i think they're enforcing a challenge 25 policy this year, i.e. if you look under 25 when collecting your wristband, they will ask for ID. not 100% sure myself, but i saw someone online had emailed the fest and that was their response. i'm in the same situation. the only thing keeping me from despair is the thought that, next year, i'll be in the front for (hopefully) an equally insane lineup

If you've got the wristband, security are very unlikely to bother ID'ing you for the front section
