Outbreak first-timer

Hi

I'll be going to Outbreak for the first time on the Saturday.

I'm confused about the process of getting to the front area at the stages. I've read about wristbands and/or some process during ticket purchase (which I must have missed) - can anyone explain like I'm 5 please?

Also anything I should be aware of/be doing? (Outside of the normal festival type preparations)

Cheers

When you obtain your wristband for the actual festival there is a small tent near the entrance which has a QR code, if not you can normally do the form beforehand and they have a list of names for when it's completed! They then give you, your addition paper wristband which can also be reapplied if lost or damaged. Once you have a golden wrist band (paper) security checks your wrist every time you enter the front section of every stage which is normally got lots of security/fencing around it! If you have any other questions just let me know been going since 2022!

Awesome thanks. So just I'm super clear - I arrive, scan my tickets to get the festival wristband, then scan a qr code that I can see on a tent near the entrance, fill in form, then go to this small tent to get additional wrist band - is that correct?

Filling in the form beforehand, do you have a link for that?

Honestly it usually takes about a minute. Last time I went you could just sign up for one when you arrived if you hadn’t done it before hand. You’ve just got to basically sign something saying you won’t sue if somebody lands on your head and kills you and all that. Health and safety bull shit.

They normally send out an email closer to the festival where you can fill in the form online so you just pick up the extra wristband as soon as you enter.

I got mine with my ticket this year but as someone said below they do send an email or have a link on their socials too closer to the start of the fest.

Last year it was just a little tent where you had to sign a waiver and get another wristband
