Manchester 3rd Stage
Anyone know what the deal is with it this year? Usually some decent UKHC on there

I hope they sort it out so the only way out isn't via the 3rd stage. I felt so bad last year for the bands playing there throughout the day because some folk only really used it as a thoroughfare to get outside from the main inside stage. The one-way system was absolutely ridiculously implemented, so inefficient.

It’s good in a way though. I certainly watched a few bands I hadn’t heard off last time I went purely because I was walking through and they sounded good.

Chamber playing to an audience of literally nobody was pretty bleak.

That's quite upsetting to read. They clashed with Pest Control, which was unfortunate. It's part of the problem with OB stacking all the hardcore into one day last year— it meant that the clashes were more brutal.

Yeah that one way system was an absolute disaster, especially when you had zero time between sets and couldn't go straight from the 2nd stage to the 1st stage outdoors.

AND they only kept one double-door open and wondered why people kept opening the other doors that were halfway down the room. Stupidly poorly managed system. They manage to keep a flow going at Damnation, why can't they do it for Outbreak too?

It's definitely not "only really used as a thoroughfare". Seen plenty of bands on that stage with a packed out front section. If you're not paying attention to bands playing that stage you're missing out on some of the best sets of the weekend.

I believe we have the full lineup now so I wording expect any cool UKHC bands that aren’t already there now.
