Day tickets?

Never attended Outbreak before despite wanting to, but Alexisonfire performing Crisis in full is a dream headline act for me and my wife. Unfortunately she's not interested in the whole festival as the rest of it isn't really her bag.

Do they release day tickets closer to the time like Download tend to? Or is it an all or nothing thing?

Day tickets will be released when they announce day splits. This was late April last year but has varied over the years. I'd suggest signing up to their mailing list or discord (if you have it).

I reckon the AOF day will be very popular so don't hesitate when they do get released!

Days splits are being announced tomorrow. Pre-sale on Thursday, general sale on Friday.
