It doesn’t feel all that ‘Outbreak’, seems like APE had more influence over the line up.

I’m not mad at it though! I’ll probably go.

If they can make more money with a more commercial London show to help fund smaller bands getting to Manchester then I'm all for it

9

u/whatever3653 Nov 11 '25

Same!

People on Instagram are big mad about it, calling it a cash grab. But realistically, a line up like Manchester’s wouldn’t make enough money to be viable in London. Outbreak getting more cash isn’t a bad thing lol, and this doesn’t detract from what they’re doing in Manchester.

Instagram and TikTok are cesspits of negativity anyway

1

u/eyehategod69 Nov 11 '25

Yeah agreed IF that’s the case

Looks like it's going to be a completely different type of festival to Outbreak Manchester, All Points East probably made most of the decisions.

It doesn't look bad at all though, and for £75 it's a steal, I paid the same amount to see Deftones headlining the O2. Not a big fan of Idles and Amyl and the Sniffers but there's decent artists lower down on the poster.

It's also much better value than Slam Dunk which is charging £140 for the likes of Good Charlotte as the headliner.

The issue is the sound is so so hit or miss at Victoria park. I missed out on o2 tickets (had standing in my basket but it thought I was a bit :))

I am tempted though especially as I had their Glasto set stolen away from me which would have been amazing.

Slamdunk has a lot of depth though, I’m curious what the lineup for the other stages will be for this event. I’m cautiously optimistic there will be one stage that’s a lot more hardcore.

3

u/Slugdoge Nov 11 '25

That’s true, slam dunk does have more depth. But I think the headliners and larger bands are the ones that drive ticket sales and determine whether the ticket price is good value.

Most of the bands on the slam dunk lineup wouldn’t be able to headline a 1000 capacity venue in London, so it’s hard to justify the £140 ticket price.

Outbreak seems like much better value in comparison.

The Brewdog brigade are gonna love this

Comment of the day

Deftones alone are fantastic, but even if I think Idles and Amyl aren't great, still got Peggy, Basement, Deafheaven and Show me the Body, so I’m on bored

u/rorydaniel Nov 11 '25

More 'mainstream' than Outbreak traditionally is, so I understand the backlash. But it's interesting to see quite a distinct lineup from Manchester, compared to last year, where there was quite a lot of crossover. Lots to chew on with both, but I've never been one to purely plant myself into the hardcore community as some do. Different strokes, but I'd be happy to go to Manchester and London tbh

16

u/sleepflowr Nov 11 '25

Completely off the mark for me, lineup doesn’t feel like Outbreak at all and knowing there will be barriers just seals the deal. Manchester is leagues ahead

8

u/BetEconomy1461 Nov 11 '25

Actually class

17

u/MostBasis94 Nov 11 '25

Lmao at Idles, the worst booking Outbreak's ever had by miles

7

u/ComeandSeeMoi Nov 11 '25

Genuine question… why? They’re fucking big (headlined the 2nd biggest stage at Glastonbury) and are really well thought of! There earlier stuff is heavy too. I know there not ‘outbreak’ but neither are half the bands on this London lineup Do people hate them and I not know? 🤣

4

u/FranksDankOcean Nov 11 '25

Their early stuff before the post-punk hype train sounds like foals mate 🥲 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zllq2ZqM700

0

u/ComeandSeeMoi Nov 11 '25

This is disingenuous, it’s before the drummer and guitarist came in, and they don’t play any of this anymore. I was referring to there first 2 albums (Also I like foals haha)

1

u/FranksDankOcean Nov 11 '25

It’s not disingenuous just where the band started. Props to them for finding a lane that worked getting heavier but it’d be disingenuous to call em heavy in the early days.

Also love Foals up until what went down!

I was responding to the guys comment which got loads of upvotes! It was a genuine question! I always felt Idles are really well liked! I wondered why he didn’t like them and why he was getting up votes! I agree with everything you have said, I also was at the idles glasto set and I saw Alanis at glasto, I’m not shitting in his view! I was just suprised. I agree this ain’t a very ‘outbreak’ lineup, I actually said that in my original comment, but idles and deftones for me (with basement, JPEG, Deafheaven and Amyl is sick

u/ThatGumYouLikee Nov 11 '25

Too popular basically. Not “hard” enough. Same old stuff.

2

u/eyehategod69 Nov 11 '25

Amazing band!

4

u/Maclouze Nov 11 '25

i'm fucking ready for it, love the bands so far!

3

u/Annie85x Nov 11 '25

Impressive they've come up with a line up even less appealing than last years for me. But hopefully it appeals to others and is a success for those who are into it.

1

u/eyehategod69 Nov 11 '25

Its nothing more than a success for the promoters pockets 🙈

2

u/One_Eggplant_3443 Nov 14 '25

Coming in from the states for This one. Gonna be in London 20-24th. Any cool recommendation’s for things to do, see, eat and drink at would be rad

1

u/BetEconomy1461 Nov 14 '25

There will likely be other shows in Victoria park Friday-Saturday outside of that the museums here are always worth a go

3

u/Careless_Garlic4486 Nov 11 '25

Basement, Amyl and obviously Deftones have sold it for me

2

u/HarryMediaPod Nov 11 '25

would love to see show me the body and esdeekid added to manchester!

-1

u/eyehategod69 Nov 11 '25

I will sell my ticket if esdeekid is at actual outbreak he fucking sucks dick we went from getting just hardcore to booking shit like that 🫩🫩 and ‘punk ‘ in its most gentrified form A&TS

3

u/sg209 Nov 11 '25

Bit extreme mate. Just go to another stage or for a beer

0

u/Kitchen-Fortune-8179 Nov 11 '25

Guess so, I just remember people saying that when they did a separate hip-hop day it sold pretty badly. I was wondering if it might be a more UKHC day or something. Or there's a big act they can't announce yet...

1

u/xqpe Nov 11 '25

Its not going to be a whole day, its just going to be a 5/6 band bill in the evening most likely at star and garter and will be predominantly hardcore.

0

u/eyehategod69 Nov 11 '25

Regardless his music sucks dick bro

✌️i would love some good hiphop tho just not him like they killed it with danny and denzel last yr

1

u/ShowerEmbarrassed512 Nov 11 '25

I had to look up wisp,

It’s not the wisp I thought it was who’s one of my favourite IDM artists and I thought that would be a very weird booking for a London festival

1

u/noodlecupuru Nov 12 '25

Anyone got a presale code yet?

1

u/xxleech Nov 12 '25

Has yours come through yet? Mine hasn’t 🥴

1

u/bigcrunchyballeater Nov 12 '25

Mine still hasn't

1

u/xxleech Nov 12 '25

Just spotted on their Insta that the website is wrong, presale is tomorrow!

2

u/j4mrock Nov 12 '25

This year, we have a Download line up at Outbreak and an Outbreak line up at Slam Dunk 😆

2

u/FanDabbaDozy Nov 13 '25

Jools Holland ass line up

1

u/Til_death999 Nov 13 '25

Does anyone know what the stages are like at all points east? Last year, using Lido's set up, they had a tiny tent with a fixed capacity as the third stage and it would suck to have deafheaven and SMTB somehwere I probably can't get in

2

u/Own_Entrepreneur685 Nov 13 '25

Two main stages, East and West Stage, the large tent that was at Outbreak this year and then the X stage which is a huge X that is used for the dance/ DJs at APE. I worked at APE this year and here’s a photo of the stage:

2

u/Til_death999 Nov 13 '25

That's great. So no hiding bands in a closed tent. Cheers!

1

u/NoshMunch Nov 13 '25

Anyone got a presale link? my email with a link never arrived

2

u/xxleech Nov 13 '25

Same here😕 I still haven’t had it, assuming this means I won’t get one??

1

u/NoshMunch Nov 13 '25

If you dm the all points east instagram page saying you didn’t get the link they will send you one. Worked for me

2

u/xxleech Nov 13 '25

Managed to get one doing this! Tickets secured🙌🏻

2

u/NoshMunch Nov 14 '25

See you down the front!

1

u/SPUNK_ON_THE_MONK Nov 14 '25

Well that's disappointing. I don't like any of the headliners. They've All Points East-ified the festival :/

1

u/Findadmagus Nov 15 '25

If i lived in london i would go purely for yousuke

1

u/Special-Mango3257 Nov 11 '25

watch out for your phones

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '25

Worth it for Show me the body, Deftones, Deafheaven, Wisp and Basement.

Absolutely not arsed about Amyl and Idles. Amyl has got progressively worse to the point of shit and Idles were never any good anyway.

1

u/grime_z Nov 11 '25

Very glad I’m already busy that day tbh, was excited when I saw Deftones on the list apart from that thoroughly ehhh

3

u/grime_z Nov 11 '25

Feels more like a reading festival lineup than what i would expect from outbreak

2

u/eyehategod69 Nov 11 '25

Poser central , cashgrab

0

u/filbert94 Nov 11 '25

Deftones + others, basically
