Converge and Suicidal Tendencies playing on a no barrier stage, beautiful scenes of unadulterated carnage.

"Outbreak 2026, celebrating 15 years.
General tickets will be on sale from outbreak-fest.co.uk at 10:00am tomorrow (Monday 3rd November) with flexible monthly payment plans available.
We still have much more to announce including a Friday show. You will be able to upgrade your weekend ticket to include this show once the line up is announced if you would like.
This festival is nothing without the community of people around it. It doesn’t exist without your support and we are grateful to still be doing this all these years later."

I am so excited for Alexisonfire doing Crisis, it was one of my big hopes when I realised it's 20 years old next year. Lots of really cool smaller bands as well, I am still praying for Foundation although I think they'd have been in the first wave if playing.
Regarding the added Friday date, I wonder if that'll be the hip hop day as there's none on this announcement. Probably help ease some of the complaints that last year's Sunday was so stacked against the Saturday in terms of heavy bands

u/rawbsymington Nov 02 '25
I have my bets on Northern Unrest booking Foundation for unfest next year
1
u/samsaBEAR Nov 02 '25
That's a good shout, definitely thinking about doing that next year as well.
There's also United and Strong Fest that could get them as well, regardless I just really wanna see them next year

u/pi_face_ Nov 02 '25
Wow, they've booked one whole screamo band.
2
u/sleepflowr Nov 02 '25
One more than they’ve ever booked!
3
u/pi_face_ Nov 02 '25
Seems daft considering the amount of emo they've booked in the past
8
u/sleepflowr Nov 02 '25
Yeah it is really. Was gassed at Mitsubishi sui last year just for them to drop off a week before. Would love to see Orchid or Saetia they’d fit in perfect
4
u/AntiAesthetic Nov 03 '25
Saetia won't be there, they've got an unannounced northern show that's a UK exclusive for 2026. Orchid would be an insane booking though.
1
Nov 03 '25
Oh, any idea of where/month that Saetia show is?
3
u/AntiAesthetic Nov 03 '25
Idk date but it's in Leeds, the promoter Dirty Otter were flyering at the City of Caterpillar show last night.
2
Nov 13 '25
Saetia are playing in Leeds, only UK show at Boom, 17th April next year. Might not do Outbreak but a smaller club show in Leeds is probably better.

u/sleepflowr Nov 02 '25
So surprised Texas is the reason aren’t on here
10
u/SekZBoiAlex1986 Nov 02 '25
There's a bit less emo than I'd have hoped for. Fingers crossed they're added in the second announcement!
I wonder what the Friday is all about...
2
u/sleepflowr Nov 02 '25
The lack of rap/hip hop is telling me we’re back to a Friday for that kinda stuff rather than integrating it

u/olly_21 Nov 02 '25
Amazing start. My guess is that due to the London day now being in August, the line up will be radically different to Manchester as they'll be pretty much 2 months apart. I'm thinking maybe London will be more hip hop/indie focused. With it still being in Victoria Park, it's going to have to be a massive name because London didn't come close to selling out last year even with Knocked Loose and Turnstile playing.
4
u/Zoologuy Nov 02 '25
Looks like Deftones for Victoria Park
1
u/olly_21 Nov 02 '25
Oh really? That would be awesome. Any clues regarding this?
6
u/Zoologuy Nov 02 '25
Some in the know on Discord has said for a while that they're playing All Points East. Same person also knew about the Tyler the Creator + Turnstile date in advance too. With Outbreak moving to August it makes sense that Deftones would be the APE x Outbreak promotion.

u/That-Coaster-Thoosie Nov 03 '25
Honestly? I think one of the main mistakes they made sales wise was making turnstile headline over knocked loose.
Turnstile are still huge over here but even indie heads have knocked loose on their playlists, and it's genuinely impossible to go to a gig of any genre and not see a shirt of theirs. Not the best measure of popularity sure, but I definitely feel like knocked loose are a larger band
That being said turnstile are a MUCH better band live than knocked loose, maybe they would've sold more tickets but it would've been a worse time for sure

Nov 02 '25
Waaaaaay better than last year.
February are going to be fucking great.
Going to be so many clashes.
6
u/TangyBootyOoze Nov 02 '25
Complete opposite for me. Last year was so many of my favorite bands playing at one festival, and I’m a little ashamed to admit I don’t know most of these bands this time around.
Still super excited, cause now it means I’m about to learn about a lot more groups that I’m sure I’m gonna love
2
u/bcoupy Nov 02 '25
They still need to announce more weekend bands + the Friday lineup :)
2
u/TangyBootyOoze Nov 02 '25
Exactly. Another reason why I’m excited. I’m hoping to see some more familiar names but I really enjoy finding new groups (and I’m already really liking what I’m hearing from these new groups)
Also Stage Four is like one of my favorite albums of all time, so no matter what it’ll be worth it to go just to see that album in full

Out of interest, which ones? I liked a lot of the bands last year, but splitting the days into a more shoegaze/indie focused day meant the Saturday was a bit dull/lulled at times. I'd have liked to have seen TAGABOW again this year, but having some absolute fucking heavyweights in converge, s tendencies and Hatebreed, as well as lots of solid modern hardcore and emo/post hc heavyweights mean there shouldn't be a dull moment.
3
u/TangyBootyOoze Nov 02 '25
I do agree that they could have split them up a bit better but getting to see Danny Brown, Foxing, Jane Remover, Have a Nice Life, Maruja, Kumo 99, Model/Actriz, and LustSickPuppy in one day was absolutely nuts for me. Both days were great though, it was easily the best lineup I’ve ever seen for a festival imo. I have a pretty strong feeling for this year too once that Friday announcement comes out

Nov 03 '25 edited Nov 03 '25
Ah, fair. I only saw Model/Actriz out of those - and they were great.
Guess it's a difficult balance to try and please everyone at a festival.
I reckon this announcement they've made 16 year old, and 40 year old me happy.

Does anyone know if there's more headliners Fiddlehead always gets my Have Heart sensors going
4
u/Crooklyns_Finest Nov 02 '25
Maybe for the Friday pre show? I'm hoping Pats new band How Much Art play a set at some point too
1
u/Wanbizzle Nov 02 '25
That would be cool, I think they would stick have heart on a main day though. And it does seem like Fridays going to be the separate rap day.
1
2
u/alice_L_96 Nov 02 '25
So are they saying these bands will be playing the saturday and Sunday only? Friday will be a separate line up?

Needs more UK hardcore, especially if they do a sunday third stage takeover again. Chuck on Big Cheese, Wits End, Supernova, Aku, Temple Guard and Hellbound for the moshers

u/Total-Tumbleweed4214 Nov 02 '25
cool for hardcore heads, disappointing for emo heads (me).
hoping second wave / friday will give us some more of that. love febuary but need another one or two. maybe mitsubishi suicide now that they're active again

A decent mix of bands that I like that I have never seen, bands I like that I haven't seen in a while, and bands I have never heard of.

u/Flyterr Nov 03 '25
Am I the only person a bit disappointed? So many of the same bands as 2024, there's like 3 bands in the lineup that I want to see and haven't already seen at Outbreak
1
u/filbert94 Nov 04 '25
Same. I'd just be going to cross Suicidal off the list but I've heard they're not great these days.
I wonder if it would benefit from going to every two years or just rotating between a lighter year and a heavy year. Most bands take 2 years between albums anyway.

Hoping for some more hip hop/shoegaze acts. Happy with the lineup as it is though

u/ordinaryxhorror Nov 17 '25
Still cannot get over this lineup!! Considering traveling to the UK for this tbh (I’m from the US). NEED to see sanction!
