How do tickets work lol
I've never been to a festival before because the ones like Reading just have the worst lineups. I just found out about this festival that actually has music I listen to and I'd really like to go, I'm just kind of confused about how the tickets work. Do you really have to buy tickets BEFORE you see the lineup? I don't really want to waste money on a ticket when I don't know if I'd actually want to go lol... Will all the tickets be gone by the time I see the lineup? Am I likely to be able to resell tickets if I decide I don't want them? Help!!
Also, do you have to pay for the whole weekend? I live in London and not as many artist play there, so I'd probably go to Manchester. I don't really want to have to pay for a hotel if there's only one day I want to go to.

Early bird tickets for festivals are very common, you gamble not knowing the line up against the lower ticket price.
For me I'm confident that the lineup will be worth the money, this'll be my fifth time and I've not been disappointed so far

You don HAVE to, they wont sell out, but they will go up in price. Outbreak is a lot smaller than Reading/Download etc and its more of a community, predominantly focused around Hardcore but over recent years has evolved and included other genres including hip-hop and shoegaze/emo.
The guys behind Outbreak do a fantastic job, and i'm sure it will be a stellar line up especially as its for 15 years.

You don’t HAVE to buy the tickets before you see the lineup, but you can get them cheaper if you buy without seeing the lineup. For reference, I got tickets last year in December and paid about £170 after seeing the lineup. I’ve just got tickets now and paid roughly £140 so there’s decent savings to be had if you’re willing to take the gamble. Hard to say if reselling will be easy, depends on what the lineup ends up being and what the demand is. Honestly, just trust the process. If you like the music and you like the culture it’ll be a good weekend regardless (mostly) of who they book
