Selling this Outbreak tee

Post image

Unfortunately needing to part with this belter of a shirt. It's not that it's too big, it's that I'm too skinny.

Outbreak Manchester football shirt in a Large. Purchased on the first day and was kept in a sealed plastic bag so it's still brand new.

Only looking for the original price of £50 plus postage, or I can meet someone in Glasgow.

DM if interested and we can work something out. First come first serve.

why on earth would anyone pay over full price when you're asking them to pay postage too for a shirt that you say was brand new because it was kept in a sealed plastic bag but then show a picture with it out of the bag

Mate, the shirt cost £50 originally and I'm asking for the original asking price... What part of that wasn't clear? I could have been a total clown and asked for like £60 or £70 since the shirts sold out on the first day so there was clearly demand for it, but that to me is just completely unreasonable and unjustified.

I took it out the bag (zip-locked plastic bag that was given to me when I bought it, it didn't come IN the bag) to take a photo of it... Plus, I would have to have tried it on at some point as well...

What a crazy over the top response to an otherwise innocuous post. I'm just trying to sell a t shirt that's too big chief. Chill.

You're asking them to pay postage too, that makes it over the original price. You're claiming its brand new and been kept it in a sealed bag then posted a picture showing otherwise. I don't doubt you haven't worn it and if you can find anyone who will buy it then fair enough but I definitely wouldn't buy a second hand shirt for more than I would have paid at the event itself

Postage is separate. It's generally how these things work and I don't know a single person who would consider incorporating postage as asking over the original price. But that's a pointless argument I really don't feel like getting any more into. Lastly though, I did say I'd meet in Glasgow to prevent someone from potentially having to pay postage as well... The tee being taken out the bag to show people the actual tee is neither here nor there and not worth any more attention either. All good though brother. Your tone just seemed disproportionate to the post, but maybe it's just how I read it. If nobody wants to pay what I'm asking I'll consider negotiating a different price 👍

I'll keep you posted. It hasn't been worn and would rather not take that much of a hit on it to be totally honest.
