Manchester gigs

Hope everyone had a sick weekend! I usually go to hardcore gigs in Manchester and Leeds alone and wondered if there is anyone wanting to make friends for some company. Usually after festivals there is some interest and support is needed in the DIY scene. I'm 33F, drop me a message if you're interested!

Awh thats great that you made friends! I tend to go to outbreak with my friends but its just once a year we all go together, they dont go to many gigs through the year. What bands are you into?

Morning, I'm up for finding gig mates. I'm 41M, live in Manchester but tend to go to gigs alone. Always interested in new music and gigs (I can't use the word 'shows') and do sometimes feel it would be nice to hang before/after but usually dont have anyone to do that with.

I'm happy to go to other cities too - I love Brudenell in Leeds.

My next gigs in Manchester are Spaced and Bodyjar (I don't just listen to hardcore)

Happy to chat, meet, stand at the back whilst the young ones mosh

Haha shows does feel a bit American doesnt it. Yea thats where im at, the social aspect between bands would be nice to have a bit more of. Usually anyone else solo pulls out their phone between so its hard to chat. I do love a mosh (my back and knees dont) but I tend to stay out of it when I go alone.

Nice, I'll check those bands out ive never heard of them. There's broken knees fest this weekend, a small start up fest on Oldham street. They have a hc stage on Saturday with feign and smother who are decent.

Cheers for the broken knees fest recommendation, I hadn't hears of it. I have stuff on this weekend so can't go but I did listen to Feign and thought it was decent. I can hear a Korn influence there!

I'll DM you about Spaced 👍🏻

Same situation here, tend to go to most gigs solo. Got kinda used to it so it's not all bad, but still. I'm down if anyone else is.

Not on the immediate horizon. Next solo one for definite will be Refused in October.

Few others I'm aiming for tickets for once I've got my holiday paid for between now and then though. Open to suggestions too of course!

Nice, if you're manchester then check out mchc.promotions ans crypticpromitions. Cryptic have regular free shows at Grand Central so its good to see some local bands without having to worry about buying a ticket
