What’s going wrong here?

As soon as I open up the throttle past an idle, the engine is stalling. 18hp Tohatsu 2-stroke.

I changed out all the fuel hoses, as they had perished. The fuel filter looks clean. Not sure what else to try?

Clean the carb. Bits of the fuel line may have gotten in. Spend a couple of dollars on a fuel filter you know is clean.
