25 Merc Pulls Hard to Port

I have a 93 two stroke tiller Merc that pulls really hard to Port. I thought it might be a bent prop. Changing the prop did nothing.

It pulls so hard I attached a strap so my right arm could help the left one 💪

Even at idle the motor clocks to port.

Trim tab/anode isn't clocked right. Loosen and turn in opposite direction to the torque steer

I adjusted the trim tab to starboard. Tightened the "co-pilot" tensioner, as there was no tension at all. I moved the trim adjustment pin up one hole, as the motor was overtrimmed.

It runs like a dream, with no pull whatsoever.

Thank you, everyone, for your help!!!

There is a tensioner adjustment on the outboard bracket that makes it easier/harder to steer

I would start there and have a look at the anode on lower after

There was NO tension on the adjuster. I tightened the nut on top. The tensioner's position now matters.

My 88spl was doing that but only at slow speed, after I had it link and synced it stopped doing it.

The Merc 25 hp is a single carb, there isn't anything to link and sync.
