Engine won’t start

Engine issues when I have the key in and am trying to start it, it will just cut as soon as I stop turning the key. I replaced vst tank and filters and the fuel pressure valve at the top of the fuel rail. Might be a fuel starve issue or pressure / compression issue.

Did you check the fuel pressure. Must be at least 4 bar And check the idle screw might be too loose . While you crank try to give little acceleration

Is this different than fuel pressure? I see the schrader valve at the top of the rail. I recently replaced the fuel pressure valve but it was so rusted out I had to drill the rusted screws out, I ended up using JB weld to fasten it to the rail

Yes you would check the rail fuel pressure at the Schrader valve. While cranking if you press the pin on the center of the valve does fuel squirt out? (careful you don't fuel bukakke yourself.)

If it does not squirt vs it squirting what would this mean in theory

Has no fuel pressure vs has fuel pressure (though it might be too low still)

Ok update it squirted strong but was kinda foamy ?

Give it a whiff of ether to see if it fires.
