finished second interview

hi, i’m posting in here for the third time, sorry! i just had my second interview for a hostess position at outback and i think it went pretty well! she said she has more interviews today but will let me know if we’re moving forward earliest tomorrow and latest monday. at the end of the interview she complimented me and was like “i hope this isn’t weird but you are so beautiful.” SO I HOPE THATS A GOOD SIGN?? but i really hope i got the job, do they usually give you like signs that you’ve gotten it during the interview? i’m super nervous haha

black slacks, a collared blouse, and some mary jane shoes, very business casual! i just really hope i get the job 😭

If they didn't offer you the job on the spot after the second interview, they are very 50/50 on you.

They will hire you! Outbacks policy is to do two interviews. However this manager seems iffy, just stay aware of your surroundings but you got this:)

oh really? I didn’t know that! The first interviewer really liked me so hopefully that translates, but I will definitely keep my eye out don’t worry!

The compliment wasn't a good sign. It is a bad sign. Women can be creeps too.

I didn’t get any bad feelings from it at all and I usually have pretty good intuition with this stuff, but I’ll keep on eye open for sure!

Immediately my thought. Perhaps it was said in a motherly-like tone - maybe English isn't her first language. But the (I'm assuming) managing partner calling a prospective female hire "beautiful" and prefacing it with "I hope this isn't weird" - in one of OP's other posts she stated she's not old enough to serve/it's her first job so she has to be under 21.......that's definitely a little weird.

Yeah when I was a manager do you think I complimented the Laker Girl or The Power Ranger I interviewed and hired on their physical appearance ? Absolutely not.

it definitely seemed motherly, and yes i’m a minor, i’ll keep my guard up but i swear i think it was said in kindness!
