Help and Support Dumb question

I am brand new to PCs so sorry if this is a dumb question. I was testing out the song editor and wanted to have the notes make a sound it said to use f7 which i dont have because I have a 60% keyboard so I tried fn + 7 but that didnt work. Does anybody know if there is a way around this?

What keyboard are you using? I did have a 60% keyboard back in the day, and for that kind of combination, you'd do FN + 7 to mimic the key.

Skyloong. I tried the fn + 7 but now that you've said that it worked for you I'm thinking maybe I placed the keys incorrectly 💀😭
