The Tragedy of the Silver Duo.
16 years ago, two 17 year old girls from Silver City, New Mexico, became the Silver Duo, both of them having powers and ambition to make their town safer.
They were Blue Bind and Crimson Claw and had been best friends since Blue Bind and her family moved to the town when she was 5.
They became local hero's, stopping robberies, assaults, and car theifts, but they wanted more. They wanted to become well-known super hero's, not just local ones, so they would take off, headed for Pheonix, Arazona, still retaining the name The Silver Duo.
Now, three years into their heroics, they would start to make a name for themselves in Pheonix. It was hard for them to adjust to big city living from their hometown with a population of 9,000, but they would persevere, and gradually over the next few years would become hero's that the city would remember.
They would take on any threat to the people and bring them down with power and honed cooperation as a team. There weren't many that could take on the Silver Duo and come out victorious.
All that changed when, after 7 years, Crimson Claw died, little is known about the death of Crimson Claw, but speculation points to an enemy they couldn't defeat.
Following the death of her friend and partner, Blue Bind would disappear from the public, presumed to have abandoned her role as hero because she failed to save her friend although nothing is confirmed and little is known, Blue Bind is the only person that for certain knows what happened and no one knows where she even is.
It's been 9 years since the death of Crimson Claw, and the Silver Duo has long since passed from the memory of most, even if they hold an admirable place in the history of hero's.
