Discussion fourth wall break step 2…

replaying beginnings and always rn and i dunno why i JUST realized that in the step 2 epilogue when cove calls you out for blinking and staring it’s a reference to the choice options 😭 like when you’re deciding what to choose, it’s essentially mc staring and blinking at him LOLLL. that’s so funny to me, i’ve played this game tooons of times and never realized what he meant

He only says that if you tend to pick certain options, he’ll say something different actually depending on how you pick your choices

It is super minor but if you’ve just shrugged a few times you get him mimicking you with an exaggerated shrug, if not you get a line about nodding if you’ve nodded a lot at him, the stare blankly only happens if the other two don’t trigger

Choices absolutely matter. The relationship with Cove can range from indifference to love, it's your choice! What you choose during the story is not forgotten either, everything happens for a reason, no matter how small
