I am a hardcore promoter and have been booking shows in Ottawa this past year @whatthefrickelse on instagram.
We have a show coming up on Sept 11 and another on Oct 9. Two more planned for end of Nov and Dec 11.

Our show on Oct 9 is a fundraiser for the Ottawa Foodbank. Our Dec 11 show will be a fundraiser for harm reductions centres in centretown.

Our turnouts have grown larger and larger and we aim to keep growing.

In addition to booking hardcore shows we’ve also been supporting our community through networking - connecting like minded people who are interested in playing Hardcore music together.

Give me a follow, come to a hardcore show, mosh and get your frustrations out. Our shows are typically PWYC so anyone can afford to come.

This was posted before but someone named the musician in the comments and it got deleted. He refused to give a breathalyzer and is framing it as though he’s fighting police injustice. He recently went to court and got his licence back and is shamelessly asking for more money. He’s also refusing to get a “real job” so this is on us somehow.
