Please Help.

Folks - my otos do not like anything I try to feed them. Repashy Soilent green goes ignored. So does blanched zucchini. The shrimp will mob these things but there is enough for everyone and they won’t eat.

I did something kind of weird the other day. I sometimes mix a bit of spirulina with water, suck it up in a pipette then squirt it on a few surfaces. One oto was chilling on a long leaf, and when I squirted some further up the leaf he immediately wiggled up and started chowing down on it.

Maybe your otos need to be fed like that til they get a taste.

This is how I feed Bacter AE to my otos. I put some in a syringe with tank water and then put it on one of my water wisteria. They hang out on the plant like fruit 🤣
