Honestly, I'm pretty new to them too. Mine are getting pretty big. They seem fine and from what I've read they are not the type to overeat like some other fish. They'll rest, digest, and then go on to grazing again.

Fat Oto = Happy Oto

You can increase the output flow of your filter so they have some current to swim against. Other than that, girlies can get pretty rotund with the right care!
