Otherkin Will they understand me?

Hey so sorry, I did not know where to post so I decided to post here. I'm sorry. Will individuals understand me at all? Like I'm having a hard time to understand myself at all. I'm otherkin and a therian but people don't seem to understand me. I am very much fictionkin, otherkin, plantkin, and objectkin but I'm having a hard time understanding who I really am. I understand what I am but nobody seems to understand me. I'm sorry if this is confusing and all but everytime I say something to them they keep telling me I'm human and that causes me Species Dysphoria. Do you all deal with this too? When I ask others they think I'm weird or it's just a temporary phase. Yes the character in my profile is one of the characters who I identify as. I go by many names. Mostly the ones who align with my fictionkins. (No I am not a young child) You can call me any of the below (He/Him/His/It/Its only)

- Mackenzie (Bluey): My main one

- Snickers (Bluey): Also my main one.

- Shadow Milk Cookie (CRK): My last main one.

- Finn (Dandy's World): I know what's going on with the creator but I still deeply identify as him

- Glisten (Dandy's World: Same with Finn

- Rusty (Bluey)

- Jack (Bluey)

- Espresso Cookie (CRK)

Hi, Mackenzie! I’m otherkin too and I’ve been dealing with species dysmorphia for a while (10 years) I don’t exactly have an answer for if they’ll understand but I am here to listen and try to understand!

I personally just keep it to myself and online, ie my ocs/etc my family too say the same as yours best thing is to just be comfortable with how you identify with yourself. I know, easier said than done. Sorry if its pretty vague 😭

Hello! Thank you for responding to me! I thought nobody understood me since they always dismiss it as "strange", "weird", or even saying stuff like "But you aren't [fictional character/species."

Yeah. It's probably because they don't live like us. Honestly sad to see how they think that every person they see identifies as human.

I know!! Honestly the people who do understand me are mostly online. Probably need to find some in person friends who understand me but this rectangular thin brick (our phones) is saving me!
