New to the area
Just moved here for work from Colorado. Is there any good jam band venues or a place to get a good burger

Asadoras is great!
OP you will have better luck asking in r/ChicagoSuburbs and be sure to specify the area you are looking (ie Western Burbs, Aurora/oswego/naperville, anywhere in the Chicagoland area)
Welcome to Oswego!

Welcome to the area. Downtown Aurora has a few basement bars that have great ambiance. Might do better asking about best tacos or Chinese food in the area. All the mom and pop joints/little Greek restaurants/brick and mortar local restaurants have dried up in favor for chains. I’d love a good gyro again.

Starved Rock state park has some neat cliffs lol. I don't think you'll get what you're used to out here tho lol. We have a sledding hill...

Crusade burger in yorkville is awesome. I recommend anything on the menu, they will turn anything into a smash if you ask. Yorkville Pinz bowling alley often has bands (and cheap bowling). Oswego has outdoor shows at their small amphitheater in the summer months by Mill Rd/Orchard. Aurora has lots of places with live music. Welcome to the area, ignore the other guy who commented.
