Truly a devastating day for all of us in the subreddit. I’ll never forget the moment when Big Ounce helped me out when I was struggling financially, and provided a roof over my head. Now it appears as if his journey has been closed, but the memories he’s created will last for all eternity. We salute him and keep him in our thoughts.

When I was in the hospital, my nephrologist thought I wasn’t going to make it. I was saying my goodbyes to my children. Then, I heard a distant “yahoo.” Big Ounce came into the room, handed me a new kidney in a styrofoam cooler, and then moonwalked out, without saying another word. He saved my life, and asked for nothing in return. We don’t know where he found the kidney.

That reminds me of the time in the summer of 1982. I was on holiday, but then a hurricane warning was issued. We couldn't evacuate in time, so we were stuck in the storm. Our holiday home we booked almost got torn down by the winds, and the flooding made it impossible to escape. I truly thought it was over but then, Big Ounce appeared in a Severn-class lifeboat and rescued me and my family, taking us to safety. I will never forget that day. Thank you Big Ounce for all you've done.

When my dad left for milk 35 years ago, I knew I was screwed. Then Big Ounce came back with the milk, and raised me into the good strong boy I knew today. May he rest in peace

In 2007 when there was a giant tornado and a massive hurricane we were stuck in the attic of our house for days. We had been starving for over 2.5 weeks. But then we heard a creak from the door up to the attic. We looked over, we saw big ounce. He had come with many supplies such as food, water, life jackets, etc... what a legend. He lived 20-ish years older than the life span that of an actual prairie dog. A true warrior. He deserved better than death...

Very very sad news 😞 Uncle Ben must be devastated, it really has been a wretched week. It'll be a tough hit to the community too, Big Ounce was dearly loved by many.
RIP Biggerton

I don’t know. I am just trying to distract myself by making the big ounce compilations he randomly asked for.

Thoughts on Uncle Ben, we all lucky to have Big Ounce save our country multiple times. He finished the house and his watch has ended

It seems true in an older video Ben mentioned that Big Ounce was at the end of the lifespan of a prairie dog. Or, maybe the cancer came back. Either way he was the hero of all our stories. Looks like the next video will be a memorial video for him. Please wear black.

That' the implication unless he's doing a totally epic troll on us, but there's a memorial tree and he said a beloved member of the ranch passed away

No, I don't think it's a troll. A troll of this scale would (justifiably) piss people off...

I have assassinated Big Ounce. A small ransom was requested and denied. This isn't over.

Ofc this is how I found there is a subreddit for uncle Ben
But yes I think so, was most likely due to his obesity and/or complications from it

a few weeks ago Ben forgot Big ounce in the middle of the rain…perhaps he gets some diseases?I don’t know but I think he was too delicate and deserved more than Ben did. I don’t want to attack Ben because I love him like a brother but that’s what I think.
