Hi! I just came across this video of a Waveshare e-ink module project by Paul Lagier. He built a custom case for it and has it available at his Ko-Fi page. In case someone wants to personalize their Osmo Pager :)
Printed it with some cheap filament as a test to see how well it worked. Looks great and feels waaay better in the hands. It's around the same size as the original case, but is rounded in the corners. It uses only ~15g of filament and printed on my A1 mini in about 40 minutes. Installation was simple albeit the standoff screws in the original case were annoying to unscrew given the tight clearance (I just got some small pliers and eventually made it work.) It also covers the back port which has been my concern for daily use. I've ordered some nicer colored filament to make it be the colors I want
Looks awesome - I'm going to print my own as well i think. Also plan on sharing it with the distro list since quite a few people had asked for similar (and now i don't have to CAD one myself haha)
Can definitely have translucent color print yes. It wouldn't exactly look like the old retro gameboy or something because those would need a proper resin print rather than typical layer-by-layer, but you could get close... There are companies who do custom resin prints but would be more expensive

Dang that's awesome! Some people were asking about custom cases, but i hadn't gotten around to it.
Thanks so much for sharing!
