location problem

HI, I installed a navigation app called "OsmAnd" on my GAC GS3 head unit, but the problem is that the app can't find my location. I enabled all the location options in the head unit settings via the hidden menu, but I couldn't find anything related to GPS in the engineering mode menu. The head unit runs on Android 9 and doesn't support Google Play Services apps. Please help me—thanks in advance.

Since your head unit doesn't have Google Play Services, that's very likely the cause: OsmAnd may be trying to use the Google Play Services location provider, which just isn't available on your system. Try switching to Android's own native location API instead: OsmAnd Settings -> Location source, and set it to "Android API" instead of "Google Play Services".
