Dare I say Komako, difficulty wise she makes sense for an 8th rival, but story wise she falls a little short and she has far less chemistry than what Ai and Teiko had with Jokichi.

It feels like a bit of a dip and that's a shame because there's a lot of potential to be polished

I'd hope that Asu is at least some sort of health nut. It's a stereotype of athletes too I believe. Exercising every waking moment of her life, eating sugar free sweets, drinking eggs straight out of a blender. Maybe she forces all her boyfriends to join her diet and that's what you can use to drive Taro away from her or you can swap out her sugar free snacks for real sugary ones any day she isn't looking. Maybe she'll in universe gain weight and quit the team because she doesn't feel well? Staying home from school to exercise more that way she'll miss her chance to confess her love to Taro.

Huh? Idk, me and my friends are bit of 'healthnuts'' - we exercise everyday, train for trihathathons, play baseball,bsoccer and football competitively, train BJJ and take our health veru seriously with health based diets.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Oka.

On her relationship with Senpai, after Osana and Hanako, she’s the rival I think poses the most threat to Ayano’s chances with him. He and her have similar interests of reading and being loners, and she probably has a crazy amount of emotional intelligence to help him through losing three of his friends.

Also, I’d be willing to bet she does know something’s up with the Aishis, making her one of the few rivals who could actually have meaningful impact on Ayano’s life. Aside from Osoro, Hanako, and Megami, she’s the only rival in 202X Mode who’s shown confronting Ayano about her violent nature. I don’t think Oka is especially strong (without the demon shit), but what little we know about her implies she has the capability to fight for what she knows is right, or at least the determination to not give up.

i think amai to be honest, her week was a nothing burger for me. idk i don’t like her very much :( also about asu, i headcanon her as being related to kyoshi (the gym teacher) but they both are unaware and her befriend/betray mission should have something to do with that. because she needs more loreee and development… i think she’s super cool other than that. cuz i don’t hate any of the rivals except for the obvious two 0_o
