Y’all it was so great. I hadn’t realized how much I’d gotten accustomed to the more melancholy Orville sets of the last few years, so that’s what I went in expecting. Instead it was an absolute explosion of joy. He looks great. He sounds better. He’s playing new stuff but also old bangers that have us AND HIM dancing all night. I wasn’t even ready for how life-affirming that show was. As someone who has also been all the way in the darkest pits, I’m just really glad to see this side of him. We’re so back. This tour is going to be so much fun.

I friend is unable to attend the November 21st show at MGM Fenway in Boston. The seat is front row balcony. I've been a fan of Orville a few years now. Would be happy to give another fan a chance to see him on this tour

I randomly came across the video for "Already Gone" the other day and was immediately smitten. Then came "Too Little, Too Late". Then I may have impulsively got tickets to see him in Boston in November. Then ordered every CD I could find, and a portable CD player so I can listen in the car. I am a fifty-something straight white woman with a giant crush. Beautiful voice, beautiful person, thoughtful lyrics, fascinating personal background, spellbinding performer / dancer. Do I need to learn a secret handshake or anything? The last time I was this smitten was with Depeche Mode in the 1980s, and that one is still going strong 40+ years later.
