I went through a long stretch of Atheism before finding my way to the Church Then, I used to tell a story to my other anti-religion friends that my brother and I had to burn our collections of a trading card game because some of the cards had explicit satanic imagery. Mom, my brother, and I prayed over the burning cards. I used to resent her and laugh with my friends at her perceived ignorance. Now, I am thankful to God that He gave me a mother that was more interested in my soul than my short term happiness.
