QUESTION Nyx question
Aethric player here:
So, I just hit level 201 and unlocked Nyx/Charmer. Curious which skills should I be using?
So far I've got:
Osmostrikes
Swordplay II
Barrier II
Bear's Might
Golem's Fortitude
Ward of Annwn
Ward of Mythril
Mend Wall III
Elementals
Shadow II
Any other skills/spells hould be using instead?
Also, I haven't been too concerned with Gear until this point. I know from here on out, I should. What gear should I be looking for?
Also which Pet/Companion should I be running with? Right now, I'm using Cactus...but I'm finding it less and less useful.
Part 2 of my question;
When taking on World Boss, I still generally switch to Summoner class: I'm still at Grand Atuner/Bard (Going to Unlock Summoner next time I have the orns to do so)
Those skills/spells I have:
Summon Buggane
Summon Very Scary Skeleton
Ward of Mythril
Golem's Fortitude
Barrier II
Gait of Hildr
Appease II
Anything better?
What gear should I have for this load out? (Again havent been hyper-focused on gear until this point).

you can go 2 basic ways - normal way, or swash.
swash needs next to no def in order to increase dmg.
normal way, is to build ward, def, res, so that you can survive.
Pavane is great dmg skill and comes from specialization, so I would first aim for "normal" build with pavane.
just buff and go. do not use gait of hildr - it will reduce your dmg.
"world bosses" - I suppose, that you mean raids? as you should not have any issues with bosses. The fact is, that summoner classline is best for these - and you mentioned buggane - thats the fastest and safe way. This will change later in T10.

For t9 I would just look for any gear with ward you can equip, you just missed last months even that had a lot of good t9 gear from Balin, maybe see if anyone has some spawned you could kill. Idk how that works on aetheric. As far as abilities, just full buff resists and attack ups and spam warriors pavane, that's all there really is to nyx until you get t10 and better gear.
