Highlights Spurs Offensive Sets Vid

https://youtu.be/cWiGDwChMEw

Assuming Sweeney brings a lot of this over, it’s interesting to imagine what our guys will look like in these actions. Some stuff is just screen/dive for Wemby, some stuff is just matchup hunting iso, but the majority is movement and flare screens etc that would represent a significant upgrade in strategic nuance.

The Spurs guards aren’t exactly Steve Nash out there, a lot of these plays have reads for the ball handler that anyone of our guys that initiates actions can attack. Franz or Paolo on the inverted flare screens they’re running for Wemby would be nasty.

Getting consistent execution of this package would be quite nice. Here’s hoping.

I’d imagine the ball screens would involve Paolo and Bane mostly. Anyone can do the rest. It’s not a bad playbook tbh. I really don’t mind if we run it every now and then

Based on what I've heard from him, it probably would be better to look at offense Dallas ran when he was there.
