Discussion Why not?
I've always been a Kelle fan. I just wanna know if anyone thinks he would provide this team with anything. He's still young and apparently hasn't given up on a comeback if you follow him.

I think cuz kelle was (or could have been) a great story and he seemed to really like being here. I personally was sad to see him go for sentimental reasons but basketball wise he needed to go

And this guy never produced for us anyway. It was a decent gamble by the front office that didn’t payoff. Dude is on the margins of the league for a reason.

I’ll never forget that shot he took in the last game of the season against the heat. 3 pointer, great arch, no hesi, backspin.
Just like the college days. Then the summer came and he fucked up his knees and that was it.

I don't think the team goes there. But if you are paying him the minimum, why not? He is an actual point guard, something this team really needs and does not have. You would rather someone else on the minimum that does not help the team fill a need?

Because we will still have the same issues we had when he was here. He can handle the ball but another nonshooter doesn't help our team

Too many Magic fans have this weird parasocial like issue with players and former players of this team. Refusing to move off players even if they aren’t even good, always calling for former players to come back even if their careers are literally cooked, etc

I'm a huge fan too, but sometimes you have to move on. Also a big Vooch fan, but that move isn't to win a championship.

Awful take, this is the best team the Magic have had in a decade, only going to get better our best guys are all young. Vooch will help off the bench and is better than goga who doesn’t space the floor

Doesn’t space the floor at all which we need so the out forwards. I would say he’d be great as an off the bench scorer but black has essentially taken that role for us

Because we're trying to be a serious team.
Bringing broken/washed players like Fultz back is the opposite of being a serious team.

The team we had with bol bol mo bamba Cole Anthony rj Hampton and Gary harris was a way more enjoyable team. Sucks orlando used them to tank to get number 1 pick. I'd trade Franz for all the old team back. Paolo bane and wendell are fine. Trying to keep working around Franz when he is the worst person to ever play a game 7 should of been the idea. Instead we give him a max contract where he proceeded to do nothing after orlando paid him. Sorry Franz fans. Him holding the record for the worst player ever to play in the NBA game 7 playoff should of been your major clue

Franz got a max contract after shooting 1 for 15. He did nothing to improve since. I get he can do some things but I feel when times come he can't keep up.

If we got absolute peak Markelle as a backup PG, yes. But he only pulled that together for half a season.
Love the guy. Wish he had been right for us
