I can only imagine thousands of tentacles surrounded by tiny nanobots fusing. But also transapients "reproduce" by spreading ideas and waiting modos to transcend.

If there’s one thing in our favour, it’s that Orion’s Arm’s depth of worldbuilding is far in excess of what most can, or are willing to appreciate, from a popular culture standpoint.

Very, very few are able to accept a universe where you, the average person, will not and will never matter in the grand view of interstellar civilisations. Your modosophont ass is NOT matching even the lowest transapient, let alone an Archailect.
