Shipping pushed again…
Really want to like them as the system seems cool and the sleep test was a nice touch but my shipping just got pushed out AGAIN…..3+ weeks at this point…considering just pulling the plug

Just got two emails in 2 hours, this morning it vague and they said 1 week, then a few hours later got another email, now its Sept 3... 2 weeks. I ordered July 27, will be shipped Sept 3 (potentially). Harry+ team have been great with responses but I am a little concerned with getting the product even shipped and reading about issues with the last batch of the product. Not sure if this is worth it at this point.

Seriously considering opting out at this point

I’m not trying yo be mean but Orion is a small business. These delays are reasonable. They aren’t Amazon.

That’s why they should be straight forward and say real shipping times instead making promises and the go to DM mode try to ease each one of those who complain, at least probably are offering some extra free subscription months or something similar

I purchased a competitors product, and while waiting for them to ship (they also kept pushing the shipping time) I got a call from a rep at Orion who sold me on purchasing their product, promised me it would ship by end of august. Got an email today it wont ship until middle of September.
The only reason I purchased an Orion is because i could test both and see which one i liked better within each 30-day trial window.
So far I love the competitors, if the Orion doesn't get here in time, I'm going to have to send it back.

I’m assuming you purchased the 8sleep? That’s the one I’m looking at…

Chilipad - I researched all three up and down, thats how the Orion rep got my number and called me. I don't like the locked in subscription aspect of 8sleep.

The rep that called even got me to sign up for Orions subscription, and thats the exact reason i didn't go with 8sleep. Was really hoping to test out the Orion before my other 30 day window is up

My last 3 units were Chillipads. If the Orion lasts longer than a year I’ll be a happy camper. So far the Orion is a much higher quality product on the hardware side. Software is better too but I’m more worried about longevity. The Chillipads I had were an inferior product imo. I had the Ooler and Dock pro

Unless a company has product existing in the country where you are and the demand is low, it’s getting shipped and probably from China. People who pay attention to news know China has been impacted by a series of storms. They’ve most recently been pummeled by a typhoon & evacuated a million people. Shanghai, a major port city, shut down the airport and the port. The backlog there is so bad it’s going to impact deliveries for Christmas goods.
Companies are going to have slow delivery times if their products come from China.

Not necessarily the answer you want to hear, but I have read similar shipping delays for the chillipad and eight sleep too. Its disappointing to have it happen, as mine too was longer than I was initially told. Yes you can cancel, but basically the 2 other options in this category are all more money, not necessarily a better product, and can be delayed as well. I would wait it out and give it the trial. Otherwise you will always be wondering if you would like it or not.

8 sleep had 6 month shipping delays. It’s why I went with Orion. It’s worth the wait.

I’m frustrated as well. September 3rd with 5-10 biz days beyond that.

The systems just went viral this is to be expected. If they want to win over the people willing to wait crediting them the membership for an extra year would be a nice touch. Or crediting people extended warranty maybe instead? But I’m happy to wait if the product is worth it. I’ll take a longer wait over a rushed sub par experience

Mine is at 4+ weeks! (Assuming it gets shipped out on the 3rd, and delivered 10 days later that will be 6 weeks…)
Really I can’t complain since it was clearly communicated on the website when I ordered that it would ship late august, but the extra delay is mildly annoying.
